The video below gives an overview of creating a ComboBox that does conditional formatting. The code uses regular expressions to determine if an item in a combobox should have special formatting. The code is nowhere near production ready, but it should give you an idea of how to do formatting of items in a combobox drop down list. See the full post if you want to copy the code.

So, I am trying to diagnose a problem we are having with word when we copy data from one document to another. I've used Word 2003's reveal formatting option to see what formatting the document has on it, and to my surprise there are some East Asian properties set. So I click on them and Word takes me to a place in the paragraph formatting that I had never seen before. If I select one of the other tabs, I lose this interface and the only wasy to get it back is from the reveal formatting area.

I found this article over at slashdot about how Opera is now offering their browser free of charge.

I downloaded it earlier today and found that it is a neat little browser and has a lot of cool functions that make web browsing an easier experience.
